Re: 2009 TXT no go II - The Saga Returns
Well, the SW180 arrived from California yesterday, and I installed it this afternoon. I also purchased a new diode and resistor, and installed those as well.
While the solenoid does click most convincingly, I still get no movement. Is it likely a controller problem? How can I check for proper controller function? It is clear that the existing controller has gotten hot, as the plastic case is melted a bit at the bottom from prior contact with (now replaced) battery cables. Could it be anything else? This is getting really frustrating and tiresome. If I can’t get this figured out, I may have to rent a trailer and take this thing 60 miles to a dealer that can work on it - and likely pay them several hundred dollars or more (they aren’t cheap). I’d really rather avoid that, but I have to get this cart running. |
