Default New Navitas install. Low battery voltage cutout.

Hello everyone. I installed a Navitas 440 in my 48v 2016 EZGO Txt. Hopped in and drove it for 2 miles...stopped for a sandwich...flipped the key...pushed the pedal...LOW Voltage fault...waited 10 minutes...pushed down on pedal again and drove it for 2 miles back home. Stalled again...waited...drove into garage. Yesterday I encountered the same problem. I have changed the charging port, key switch, microswitch, heavy duty solenoid, and put in 2 gauge wires on the pack before I dropped the cash for the Navitas. I was having the same problem with the Curtis.

I have confirmed the battery pack is good.

I have also found a work around for when the Navitas throws the low battery voltage fault. I cancel the fault in the app and stomp on the pedal and off I go.

Any help would be amazing.

I had that faulty code when I entered the incorrect battery info in the app. Try to change the battery input info in the app and see if that helps.

You said you had same problem with the Curtis controller, so it is likely an issue in the cart's wiring harness.

The red wire from the run tow switch splits and feeds the reversed beeper as well as the F/R and key switches. Find that split and replace the sonic weld with a solder joint or crimp splice.

You say batterie pack is good... you should check the pack voltage " under load ". Sounds like the low voltage could be a low voltage!

All 6 batteries are 8.8. pack voltage 53.5
Charger comes on when attached
Pack voltage rose to 57.5 with charger attached
Pack voltage after low battery fault 51.

I will check and correct the wiring

Thanks for the help.

Question Re: New Navitas install. Low battery voltage cutout.

I clipped wires above and below sonic weld and used a crimp connector to reattach. Played 4 holes and I am now sitting on the course and the low voltage fault came back but after clearing it...the old "stomp on the pedal and go is no longer working...

Hopefully it will go after a bit or I'll have to push it home.

Could it be the inductive throttle sensor???

It could be... Isn't there a realtime monitoring in the Navitas App? I only know with the Alltrax controller where you can display the function of the ITS sensor.

I tested my solenoid this morning. Battery pack voltage on positive side as expected, but I only have .3 v short of full battery pack voltage on the other side. Fnr set to neutral and key on and in "run" position. Is my solenoid bad? It clicks and cart runs for awhile. But then shuts down with fault explained above.
