OP follow the brake install procedure when installing it and if it runs you got a great deal.
Agree. Gen IV versions of that don't have float mode. I might be tempted to keep that charger. (assuming you intend to flip that cart.)

When I plugged the cart in and watched the needle it was kind of erratic. Started around 5v, jumped up and down from 7-10 volts and after 5 minutes it shut off and said “Charged”. On all my other chargers the needle was constant. Is this just a different type of charger?

Any thought on why 3 batteries read 12.7 and the 4th 14.4v?

The boards on the DPI chargers run Around $160.00 or so.

Any thought on why 3 batteries read 12.7 and the 4th 14.4v? 12.7 is a fully charged battery. Check that battery again today and see if you get the same reading. Could be someone just charged that single battery by itself right before you got the cart.
