Re: Sepex motor test
It was so big I didn't realize there were two pictures. Here's the other one.

Re: Sepex motor test
Sorry, I always use my phone and craptalk as everyone says. I'll start using the smallest setting. I thought original was the way to go.

Re: Sepex motor test
I don't use a smartphone for internet stuff, so I don't know what the various ways of posting images with one are.
Here is what your post looks like on my 20" 1600x900 pixel display. |

Re: Sepex motor test
It is added as an attachment through the app. It gives you the option for the attachment to be original, medium, or small. I assumed original would be good, so that's what I've always done. I'm gonna repost it small and yall tell me how it looks.

Re: Sepex motor test
Not too bad, but a little small for much detail. (378 x 504 pixels)
Try the medium. |

On my phone they all look the same in the thread as I view them.

Re: Sepex motor test
Got the motor repaired with brushes and an armature from a couple of old motors I had laying around. Runs like champ now. So the answer to my original question is yes. A motor can pass the ohm test and still not run when only one brush out of the four does bad. It wasn't shorted, just missing a brush that increased the load on the motor.
