Workhorse rebuild cost?
Our fairgrounds has a '94 EZGO workhorse that won't run. It has very low compression and probably needs a carb rebuild. What is the most economical
way to go - have someone to rebuild the engine or buy a rebuilt engine and install it ourselves? We just need a basic cart that our caretaker can use around the grounds. Can someone give us basic costs and how hard it would be to install a rebuilt engine. |

Re: Workhorse rebuild cost?
Your best deal would probably be buy a used engine that somebody remove to install a bigger one. this way you get all the parts (like carb, etc) you need. A rebuilt (depending on where you get it) will cost better than $650 and not include a carb. They aren't the easiest things to change out but it's not to bad if you have some mechanical experience
