Re: 2005 TXT "stumbles" on acceleration
Back to the original post... I tried something yesterday. I stopped the car with a brick in front of the left rear tire so I could see it. Then tried to climb over it. Nope! Wouldn't go, I can floor it and the car barely revs and goes nowhere. I back up a foot and there is no problem. It seems to me like the stumble is causing this.
Which screw is the low speed that I need to be adjusting? I have moved the screw on top from one extreme to the other and it don't seem to affect it. I am talking about the one with the black stop on it. I haven't removed the cap and tried it though. Once the car gets going, it revs up and will climb almost anything. I am still stumped on this one. Looks like I will have to drill out pop rivets to get to my needles? |

Re: 2005 TXT "stumbles" on acceleration
Are there any pics of the carb for a '08 TXT? I would like to look at one before I tear mine apart.

Re: 2005 TXT "stumbles" on acceleration
Finally fixed the problem. I added the clutch tuning spring from CPP to the drive clutch. Problem gone. Climbs like a cat now, even from a dead stop.
