Does anyone know what this is? it is listed as a yamaha gas cart. Does anyone have an idea of what it's worth? it is listed for $2000. it's an interesting looking cart and was also curious about parts availability. thanks

It's a Yamaha Sun Classic, they were way ahead of their time and a cool cart. If it were complete and in good shape I think it would be worth the money. The drive components would still be readily available, any body parts would probably be very hard to find. Looks like they were made between 1986 to 1990. Here's a link with a little more info:

It's a G3 or G5 depending on the S/N. They are 2 stroke engines. I agree with Flint, worth the money if in good shape.

Guy's...I would stay clear of the sunclassic's. My reasoning is, vertually no body parts (expetially windsheilds) are nla. Yes the G3 2 cycle engine and most suspension parts are like G1's, so available. G5 (4 cylcles and electric) body parts/windsheild, and suspenssion nla. But and only but, if your a builder/fabricator anything is possible. They could be cool carts, but you will need alot of "will" to bring them back, of course....I guess that's what we do.

Yeah, I checked it out.......you don't see them in Texas too often, mainly FLA and CA. I'd love to have one, especially if were a G5 but I can't justify one right now either. My current money pit's not done yet!
