2008 Workhorse 48v PDS won't run

keep checking u got a bad connection in pack if all over 6 volts means it would be 48 volts not 44

Pete959 is on the right track about the battery voltage issue.

Measure the voltage drop across the interconnecting cables withing the battery pack.
(Measure from the lead post of one battery to the lead post of the next battery, that will test both the interconnecting cable and the connections.)

If you get a voltage reading on any of them, it is a problem that needs to be fixed.

My mistake - I measured total voltage at the #7 battery. Total battery pack is 50.6v. I checked the micro switch in the pedal box and it's fine.

Tried to get a diagnotic code but nothing happens - just silence, even with jacking up the rear end. If I rock it back and forth with the wheels on the ground it beeps a bunch (like 9 times in a row) which doesn't seem to be a valid code. Reverse beeper works (key on and off), lights work. No solenoid clicking.

Any ideas what to check next? Should the reverse beeper sound even with the key off?

yea it works with key off take a jumper wire and jump noid big pole to big pole if it sparks bad when u jump. my findings r when u get sparks controller is bad
