Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
Really? The inside of the tires don't even touch. I will put it up on the high setting where I need it to be and post pics. It is worst then, however that is when I sit level.
Also with the high positive camber, it make turning quick and shaky. I wonder if I should set the toe out a little.... |

Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
The tires should be close to straight vertical when you are on the cart, and you may have to roll it some to level it out. They often do look like yours with nobody on them. I can grab mine and lift the front of the cart and they go way out, I drop it and they stay there if the tires can't slide.
If you have too much toe in it can steer jittery, turn quicker, may wander. I don't like that I prefer about zero toe. If you have toe out steering is usually vague and wanders a little, is less responsive. Rolling it forward/back is good way to check toe, will make them camber up/down if toe is not zero. Where do the tires hit in back? You may have to do some mods. |

Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
Mike thanks.
I'm currently testing the toe on the wheels and will report back. I have Video of what Mike was referring to in my other post. |

Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
Well, i'm going to live with it. I adjusted the toe and it sits a little better. I still can't raise the front though to level the seat. We'll get used to it. Thanks for all the input.
Adjusting the toe amazinly aided in the handling of the cart. Keep that in mind. |

Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
Adjusting the toe works for any car. Just remember, the center gravity on your cart is dramatically altered, so it will turn over much more easily than stock, so slow down turning a corner, and be careful going sideways on a hill.

Re: Don't know about my JAKES lift
I never could get the hang of that, you try it and let me know how it works.
That new clutch too, if you live long enough to install it! |
