Default Just getting started

Hubby and I just bought a 1993 G9 golf cart. We don't know any thing about it. We know it's gas. We have a few questions. What type of gas does it need? What size battery does it need? Where can I get all the wires for the engine? It is in fair shape but it does need a little work. Anybody have any ideas.

Hi, Lilmomma, and welcome to Buggies Gone Wild! You, your hubby, and your Yamaha will love this site!

The G9 uses regular unleaded gas. It takes a Group 24 battery with at least a 50 Amp/hour rating. The Positive post should be in the upper right corner for a correct installation.

You should be able to find your owner's manual, and the service manual for the G2/G9 here.

What engine wires are you looking for? Check out the Golf Carts And Parts For Sale section, or the site sponsors. Ebay has lots of stuff that might not be found here as a last resort.

There are quite a few G9'ers here that would gladly help you out with any questions you might have.

Good luck, and ENJOY!
