How do I tell what year my G1 is?

Hi guys,
Well, just as my title suggests, I have a G1 golf cart that I need to determine the year of. What is the best way to go of this? Through a serial number possible? If so, where is this number located on the cart and how might I go about decoding it. I'm in need of a service manual to work on my clutch, but I would first like to confirm the model year before I start ordering parts.

Curtis, go to the above "stickey" section and click on "serial number locator", It will tell you just were to look. Then we can help with the year, if you need us too. Good luck and Welcome
