Default Yamaha 82 G1 Found Leak

I have a 1982 Yamaha G1 Golf Cart. I have been having trouble with power, but the cart will run with chock. Tonight I put it up on blocks and ran it for a few, untill it began to loose the power again. Took a flash light and found that it was a little wet around the area leading out to the cluch pully from the block. after turning the engin over with my hand, I found smoke coming from that area. can any help tell me what is the problem? is this why I am loosing power and hard to start....

Sounds like you are in for some crank case seals. Not a hard job...but spend the money to get the right tool to pull the clutch!

Yep, you need new crank seals.

Might be a good idea to test the compression as well. If you do change the seals it could be time to rework the top end.
