Default Very unhappy with my lift kit

I put the 7" All Sports lift kit on last week. What a piece of crap! I had the re make almost all the steering risers and put washers on everything else. The rear shocks did not line up properly (or at leat to me). This kit was not up the quality that am use to! I would never recommend this lift to amyone. Mine is ok now that I remade it! I had a lot of trouble setting the toe in because I ran out of adjustment. I have seen several Yamaha's that had excessive toe "OUT"! And now I know why. As a bolt on kit, it aint! If you have skills, you can make it work.

By front, I mean front of the front wheel hub compared to the rear of the front wheel hub!

Prime example of why to stay with Jakes lift kits.

I had simular problems with mine as well but was able to work thru it like you did. There's defeniatly room for improvement with these kits. One of them for sure is to supply (4) mounting plates instead of two, and also some half way decent instructions. The one they supplied didn't even make good Toliet paper.

Knowing what I believe I know now, I think those risers being made out of tubing, need a wider shoulder, like Jakes have. Need a wider base to lean against.

I can't beleive the "Kit" was that poorly desighned. Hope it wasn't made from 3rd country steel, it will bend on the the first hard bump. I do recommend Jakes lift kits, we will see if quality goes down since they were bought out. No offence to Jakes, but we as customer's/buy's we need to know the quality will not stop.

Guys, I beat the crap out of my Jake's this past weekend. Ran it like a sand rail. Way more than what a golf cart should have endured. If it had bent or broke, I could quite possibly been hurt or ruined the car, cause I was out past the envelope. I intend to slow down, this weekend... I hope!

Anyway, nice car, Pilot!!
