Default Precedent 2006 Black cowling/Bumper

What can I use to get the body cowling/bumper to look black again. Mine is a 06 Club Car Precedent and the sun has faded it to a chalky gray.

Thanks

Get a rattle can of Krylon Fusion for plastic in black. Walmart has it. Thoroughly wash and dry the bumper and wipe down with some acetone then spray it. You will be amazed how it looks and the paint bonds to the plastic. About $5 a can and enough to do all your black moldings

Yes it will but you will need to us a brush to get it all out of the dimples.

I have also used this it does work well. I even went one step further and sprayed several coats of gloss clear coat over it after painting it black.

Then any color that one can find in the Krylon Fusion line will work? The possibility's for custom accent colors are open to the choice or Krylon Fusion paint color options. Should I also first use adhesion promoter ?

Thanks

You can use any color you wish provided it is the paint designed for plastic. No need for adhesion promoter. For a standard look I prefer the satin black.

I tried the promoter and it gave me fits so I went back to just using the one for plastic and no promoter. It worked like a champ.
