If the starter is turning the engine, then the starter is probably OK. If the engine is not reving up in neutral, then it's probably not running, and the clutches won't operate because the engine isn't turning fast enough. The clutches will open and close if the engine is running and you rev it in neutral--preferably while on jackstands.
Got gas in the tank? Fuel filter clean? Got gas at the carb? Got spark at the plug? What is the condition of the plug? |
