The FNR holes are slotted, so you can place the FNR in Neutral, and move the FNR until the lever is in neutral (straight up and down) then tighten it.

If that doesn't help, it's not a linkage issue. Then you can try moving the FNR without the linkage, to see if it works electrically. Place the cart on jack stands while playing.

I don't have a pic, as mine's been modified, but it the linkage (not the rod but the metal piece) on both the FNR and the handle, should both be aiming up. That way, if you move the handle clockwise, the FNR also rotates clockwise.

Reread my first reply and try that. If your FNR is truly in Neutral, your handle is not.

It's not a matter of worn out. Your handle is not up and down in the first photo. I'm suggesting that your handle/linkage/FNR (system) is not properly aligned to allow forward and reverse.

If you look at your first photo, you are not even close to being in neutral. It appears that your handle is well on its way to reverse. I think you need to loosen the four bolts that hold your FNR to the cart, and move the FNR until the system is neutral.

You can also do my suggestion and place it on jack stands and remove the linkage to see if it works electrically.

Trouble-shooting is an elimination process. You either have a mechanical problem - linkage, or an electrical problem.
