Exclamation g1 rear end noises

i have a 84 g1 and when i first start it up and go the rearend roars and kinda vibrates i drilled out the linkage hole that attaches to the governer in the rearend ....Do i need to dissasemble the rear and take all that crap out of it? when it's warm and i get to about 19-21 mph it makes a sound like (don't laugh) wah wah wah and the "wahs" get faster does that mean the governer is still tring to engage?? All opinions are welcomed ...lol thanks Nate

I'd like to know too. I posted in the Club Car section and didn't get any responses. My Yammy has a CC rear with a similar problem. If I can't find a breakdown of the internal workings so I can figure out what it does, I am probably gonna take mine apart and remove it too.

it was in it when I bought it. Originally it was an electric cart and the previous owner installed a clone engine but it didn't have a reverse so he had a gas rear end installed and a CC was all the golf cart repair shop had laying around.

Would be nice to know if the noise was the secondary sliding sheave bushing or the input shaft damaged makeing the noise first. If you've done that, most likely internal gears or bearings.
