01 txt. Series. Gear upgade
Im in the process of putting 14.77 gears in do you have to change the input shaft too? If anyone knows please

Finished installing gears and yes you do have to change input shaft. Still wasn't happy with power upgraded to 2gauge wiresalot better but f n r contractor getting very hot any suggestions? Is there an upgrade for this

it is a series cart with a 6" lift, 20" tires a limited slipdiff and installed the 14.77 to 1 gears then i just installed the 2 gauge wires

Smart idea putting the lower gears in the cart, not too many guys do that. The most common complain of the carts is the loss of torque due to taller tires or added load of extra passengers, etc.
The 2g cable will help the amperage delivery to the motor but the motor's access to the battery pack is still limited by the controller and solenoid size. You can increase the available amperage for more torque with a bigger control. You can boost the torque and speed by increasing voltage. Lots of guys go with 48 volts. Do you plan on keeping the stock motor or running an aftermarket motor? |

i have a txt48 controller and harness will that make much of a difference due to the amperage of the controller or should i go with a new 48v controller for the series cart
