Default governor bypass

Hey guys,I have a 1996 club car with 6" lift 22" tire's,has slowed it down.going to send my clutch to tom at cpp,was wondering could someone help me bypass the governor the right way on my cart,and would this be the right thing to do,to help with the torch problem.as i am new to the club car gas engines.thanks for the help.

itll help by pass the mid range power loss but if you dont set up the linkages for your throttle correct and ur clutches arent in great condition this can damage ur motor badly.

Bypassing will give you more speed not power.Clutch work will get more power

You've changed your gear ratio with the bigger wheels. It's like taking off in 2nd gear with a manual trans. A high torque driven clutch or high ratio rear end gears is the only way to bring back your low end.....
