Default 92 club car trans problem ?

I have a Gas 1992 Club car. Just recently i was golfing. And the cart would not move. I lifted the seat. I pressed the gas pedal. Both drive and driven clutches were spinning. The cart does go to high idle. But it dosent move. I made sure that the linkage going to the transaxle was shifting and it was. I also did it manually. The engine seems to be running good at high idle.
Any information would help. I will do some searching on here too. Thank you in advance.

I have a feeling when you say "high idle" it's just the motor being spun by the starter, not actually fired up and running. Do you know the difference? If this is the case than there's nothing wrong with your tranny, you just need to find out why your motor isn't firing up.

Well. Played with it again today. It is going to high idle. Exhaust gets hot so im sure it is firing and running like it should. But i tore the trans off of the diff housing. I found that the splines on the input shaft of the diff are wore out. there was nothing left of them. I did find a new shaft online for 260 bucks. Does anyone know if there would be a less expensive place or know anybody that has had this same problem. And what they had to do. I know 260 bucks dosent sound like much. But im kinda cheap. Any information would be awsome. Thank you again in advance.

I'd try your local Craigslist to see if someone has old Club Car parts they might be looking to sell. Pretty sure you can use any rear axle from 1984-1995 gas Club Car DS.
