Looking at getting a Yamaha cart gas or electric
I'm looking at getting a Yamaha cart to replace my 87 ezgo gas cart. I like some input on gas vs electric carts. I like the quite of electric but the batteries are heavy and cost a lot to replace. Gas is loud and higher mantience. I use my cart for around the neighborhood and hunting in the fall. I have seen a recondition Yamaha g22 gas all stock for $2400 seams like not a bad price. Any input would help.

Just really depends on your usage.. If you do a lot of work and heavy hauling or pulling the gas is the way to go. The gas can go leaps and bounds further than the electric. The gas is really just as low maintenance as the electric. I have done noth

A gas G22 for $2400, I'd be all over that. Forget the batteries. Batteries are great for 18 rounds of golf on a course, and that's it.

Re: Looking at getting a Yamaha cart gas or electric
Thanks everyone I called the guy with the g22 for $2400 just waiting on a call back. In time If I get it lift and a back seat. Would the clutch upgrade be worth it if I lift it and use it in the woods?

I agree on the gas, I got an electric CC and it was nice but a gas cart would a been so much better. Seems like they die at the worst times haha

Re: Looking at getting a Yamaha cart gas or electric
A gas cart can be just as low maintenance as electric. Just put clean gas in it and keep the air filter clean. For the most part trouble free unless you by the belt wet or muddy it will slip a bit. Other than that ,gas all the way.
