Diameter of PTO shaft on KF-82
I've looked around here and searched the web, but it seems that the answer is never there, but can anyone tell me the diameter of the PTO on the KF82?
I know some of you have to know this and would greatly appreciate this information as I am looking into repacing mine with a Predator 420cc that has a 1" shaft. It is becoming increasingly harder to find parts for the KF82 and I find them, they are expensive! I've got to get my buggy back to running and can't find a coil exciter and it seems that replacing the motor would be the more economical alternative. Thanks! |

Do you mean the end of the crankshaft where the clutch mounts? I have two KF82 cranks in my basement and can measure one if that's what you need.

Thanks, Springbok, but when I pulled the engine, I was able to get my caliper in there. It looks to be 1 inch in diameter. Still thinking about that Harbor Freight motor...
