I emailed the rep off the Crown website and he got back to me same day with the local distributor in my area if that helps.

Here is a list of 8V batteries commonly used in golf carts.

It is not all inclusive, just what I have been able to find the specs for.

A 48V pack made up of 8V-170AH batteries has approximately the same run-time (cart range) as a 36V pack of 6V-225AH batteries.
Higher AH 8V batteries will yield a greater range.

For max range, use eight 6V- high AH batteries. (See second attachment)

I compromised with seven 6V-245AH batteries for a 42V pack and have an estimated 30+ mile range.

Cr 190s installed Tuesday. Charged up and first test drive yesterday. Initial impression is excellent. If the next polar vortex doesn't get us, I will have range comparisons with T-105s (at 36v) in a few weeks. Cart is 48v now.

I appreciate all of the information, and I will look in to local sources for the Crowne batteries. Is there anyone out there using AGM batteries in carts? Would there be a benefit, or is the cost difference to great?

Crowne doesn't have a dealer in my area at all. The nearest one is about 1 1/2 hours away and he doesn't stock the CR190. He said he would have to special order it.

I guess that narrows my choices to Trojan or US!
