Default Tires rubbing what are my options

I put some nice size but not too big tires on my yamaha drive build and they are rubbing with 2 people in the cart. I would prefer to not lift the cart 3 inches since it's my golf cart. The place I bought my wheels and tires from said I could be fine. 12 inch fa elixirs with the efx pro rider 215 50-12s. What are my options to lift it up a bit but not too much? Spacers or stronger shocks or leaf springs? I may put a rear seat on it eventually so let me know what will work.

The cheap way is pvc coil spring spacers on the rear springs. Redneck i know but works. Or metal pipe coupling fitting would work.
