We are talking welding cable aren't we? In addition to flexibility, their insulation is quite abrasion and chemical resistant. Batteries give off bad fumes while charging, which occurs in a non-moving buggy, unlike a car, where charging occurs while driving.

It seems the only size welding cable we carry here is 2/0. Is this able to be used? Seems huge.

sws make for sure like Sir Nuke said that it's welding cable. It has alot of fine strands which help conduct current and the fine strands make it alot more flexible. Like Sir Nuke, I also have 2 ga. cables that I made from welding cable. Don't gip on the cables, go ahead and get the bigger ones.

Yeah, it's welding cable. It's just larger than 2AWG. My buddy said it shouldn't matter. He's trying to track down the lugs for me. Always willing to go premium when it's not costing me anything. Thanks.

Nice work, thanks.

Also, do I replace every cable in here with this gauge type of wire?

all the high current cables......if you have a series cart.....there are 13 of them.

everywhere you have a 4 ga. cable, REPLACE IT with the 2 ga.

2/0 and 2 AWG are NOT the same thing. 2/0 is HUGE.

My concern would be the short battery interconnects. You need some slack in them, and 2/0 would be pretty stiff, which would put stress on the battery posts. Whether it's too much, I don't know.
