Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Oh, you mean like this?? Its not plug-n-play, you have to cut the plug off the original wire harness. I have also done alltrax SPM (800amp) conversions. FSIP offers a conversion pagkage.

Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Yes, exactly like that. Looking at the TDRE wire diagram there appears to be several wires not even needed for the DCX controller. Has someone made a custon diagram yet of the wires that get spliced? No sense in reinventing the wheel here.
Still cart shopping and I think I can get an '09 Drive for a good price. Thinking a DCX500 and a special battery pack for starters. |

Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Yeah, i designed a complete setup, but i cant sell it here, too costly, and i dont have a business website. Its not as simple as wire splicing. A "drive" uses a 0-5v throttle, not natively supported by DCX.

Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Yes I figured out the different throttle today after doing some research. I suspect you had to create a 5v source from solid state devices. Even then the variable input voltage wouldn't be recognized by the Alltrax. I have not found publicly anyone's DCX design drawing either so it isn't common.
I don't suspect we will see the Alltrax XTC this year at all either. |

Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Anyone have a suggestion for the best gauge to monitor the batteries? There is none on it now but it really seems like a good idea to monitor them.

Re: 2008 G29 Upgrades
Progress so far. This thing goes anywhere. Ordered the Datel meter to be installed as soon as it comes in.
