yes they were made march of 07 ... if overseas date codes are the same ..do you have a local cart dealer to ask ?

Not that bad? Battery #5 and #3 obviously a bit worse off.

Didnt have time for hydrometer test this evening, but will do it tomorrow.

So what do you guys think? Can i run these batteries for another year? Can the cart electrical system/motor take damage from running bad batteries? Or can i just use them until the cart stops moving...

Overall your pack does not seem bad at all... You've got one battery dropping down to 80 %, one @ 90 % and the rest holding near 100 % so there is no real reason not to keep running them. Now keep in mind that they may simply not last as long as they once did when being used but there is no reason to not continue using them. If not doing so already keep them fully charged at all times by keeping the charger plugged in anytime your not using the cart.....

Just went for a ride, about 7km.

Now the readings is like this:

Also, i opened the batteries to check the level, and some cells was now exposed. How come they take so much water? They where ok before i left.

Is it best to fill before or after charging?

Are you sure that they were ok before going for a ride? Or were they ok before you charged them last? Just asking....

As to when to add it is said to be best to add water after charging but you should never charge if you have exposed plates; top them up first.

Once you are absolutely sure of all battery levels before you start a charging process and after charging.... The same applies to before a ride and after to make sure of when the water is going AWOL.

Are you sure that there is no leakage or spillage?

My old batteries went through water at a much higher rate than my new ones. I would have to top them off every 2 weeks or so. When the charge level was down, the water was lower and would raise as it charged. Add enough distilled water to cover the plates, charge fully then add water to the proper level.

Yes, im sure they were ok before the ride. Will keep an extra eye on the water level.

Petter discharging a battery doesn't cause batteries to gas off and lose water. You may have a leak. Overcharging a battery does. Here's something I would like for you to try to determine which battery or batteries are bad. The next time the charger goes into an equalization charge and the batteries are bubbling I would like you to remove the caps and see if all four cells in each battery are bubbling. If one or more of the cells aren't bubbling in a battery that is your bad battery. Load test and voltage tests are too inconclusive.
