What are the delivery guarantees?
I can tell you that they are working very hard to get us our cars. I have been in touch with someone over there that I truely believe is completly honest. Say what you want, but I am convinced that they will provide us all with the cars that they promissed. They have different people working on the web site now, and I believe they are shooting for middle Feb...

I can tell you that if any of you don't agree with what I am saying, please call them. If you paid the money and are still concerned that you will not receive a car, then you must call them to let them know that you think this.

They are there every day! If you think they were going rip us off, then they would be gone...phones disconnected etc.

Are they busy, yes.
Are they overwhelmed, yes.
Do they have a plan, yes.
Will your car be delayed, yes. How long, I don't know, call them.
Did they think they would sell this many cars, I personally don't think they did so it is taking time to get the machine going!

You know, I may just get my cart before the IRS releases 8936

They are nice people and they will not let us down...

What is with the DE website... they sent us all an email saying that their IT department had updated the online interface, and that accessories where coming soon.. That was back on 1/29, a week ago. Why send that out if you were not going to have it ready? The order tracking still doesnt' work. No accessories. No good pictures of the finished product.

Do we know if they just jumped the gun on this? Did their developer quit? I wonder what happened with the website. I think a order tracking feature would settle a lot of nerves and avoid a lot of calls.

DE Informer - Has any consideration been given to allowing people the option of picking up their car instead of having it shipped? Those of us that are "local" would love the option of saving money on shipping...not to mention that we'd like to free up some space on the delivery truck for fellow "Zoners" who don't live nearby. :)

DE Informer -
  • Have any white cars been received & assembled? I don't think we have seen any pics yet either at the assembly plant or being delivered.
  • Even some of us a state or two away may be interested in picking them up at the assembly plant, if it that could be arranged.
Thanks!
