Spindle Lifts And A-arm Lifts
I am a newbie that just purchased a 04 Club Car (gas). I am pondering which lift to install. I see alot of threads on lifts but can't seem to find one that answers my question. Is it possible to uses wheel spacers on a spindle lift to give your cart a wider wheel base so it would be like a long travel kit? My guess is that this would provide too much stress on the longer spindles. I was also wondering who makes a good 8" A-Arm kit and wondering about the same questions regarding the wheel spacers for this kit also? Thanks

Re: Spindle Lifts And A-arm Lifts
Yes you can use wheel spacers on a spindle lift. The spindle will not be any longer than stock...the wheel spacers just widen the stance. There will be more stress on the spindle but you should be fine as long as its a good quality lift.
Check with some of the site sponsors. They all have A-Arm lifts. Here is a 8" A-Arm from Cart Parts Plus Club Car 8" A-Arm lift And 2" wheel spacers 2" Billet Wheel Spacers |
