Re: Batteries dead or charger dead
If the dc cord and its connections are good, Sounds like the charger control board may have failed. The only way to really prove it is to test with a known good board, easy for me, not so easy for anyone who doesnt have a second board lying around. The OEM board is the only one worth considering for purchase, the aftermarket one is junk. The board is nearly the same price as a new DPI charger.

Re: Batteries dead or charger dead
If the charger is indeed dead (I brought it home with me and will take it to a golf cart shop and see what they say), what would be a good replacement? DPI, Power Wise, Lester? Any real good vendors to work with?
Do the automatic chargers that can be left on all winter work pretty well? It looks like a 48 volt charger will run about $350. |

Re: Batteries dead or charger dead
Get a DPI from scottyb. Made in usa, and will keep tbe batteries charged while you are away. Powerwise is made by lester (lestronic). Lester is a good charger and a industry standard, but overpriced.
