So to change the fuel filter. Is it located at the bottom of the tank and I would need to get under the golf cart and unscrew it to replace? Should the gas tank be empty? I saw a pic of the correct filter online, but still not sure about the location.

Yes, you will need to drain all the gas out of the tank and then unscrew the "cap", the filter is on the back side of that. Again, I would suggest you completely remove the old filter and put one inline between the tank and the carb.

Ok should the inline filter be between the bottom of the tank and the fuel pump? Or between the fuel pump and the carb? Not sure which side of the fuel pump. Also I'm not finding a inline for the G9 just a G1. Is there a certain size for the G9?

Thanks..

I used an inline filter from autozone.

Any auto supply can sell you a generic inline filtter, and put it between the fuel pump and the carb.

I replaced the fuel filter. I saw no change. Didn't seem to help. Also somewhat cleaned the carb. Using the carb spray, I took off the rubber tube going to the air filter. I just sprayed directly in. Not sure if there is more to cleaning the carb. This seemed to help some. But I'm only able to accelerate with the gas all the way down when I pull the choke. Any other ideas? Should I try something else or did I possibly not clean the carb properly.
