Steering lock
Here's an odd one folks. Yesterday, I replaced the brakes on a friends 98 Electric Club Car. Took the sucker for a quick test drive (brakes were fine) and noticed that the cart has tremendous steering lock when turning left but significantly less lock when turning right It started to rain and his shed was to small for me have a good look but does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on under there ? Are there stops to prevent over rotation of the steering rack ?

Re: Steering lock
Jack it up in the front and spin the steering wheel lock to lock to find center.
Look where the wheels are pointing....straight? If not adjust the rod that is from the rack to the left front wheel until they are straight. I can't remember if that one has stops or not. |
