Talking Engine Moding on my 93 CC DS

I am about to spend alot of money on my CC at Everything carts. I am gonna do clutches, head work, and all engine mods with a tach, and a lift kit with tires. It added up to be about 1200.00 With including an engine rebuild kit cause i have a leak and i want a strong motor that will last a while. Just wondering if I follow the sticky thread of engine mods if i am doing the right thing. Just open to and suggestions on my project to save a much money as possible. Any help would be nice before i spend the $1200.00. Thanks for all advice

I would do a compression check on the engine before I went and ordered a rebuild kit. What is the compression reading?

You should know you have a healthy engine before you put a bunch of money into accessories and larger tires which will put more stress on that engine Post your results here
