Default I've got a TG, not a DS!

So, I thought I had an '05 DS by looking at pictures on here yesterday. When I got home I used the info plate under the dash to figure out what model I have. It also says Villager on the side, and has an IR emblem on the front hood area? I thought it was a DG? I knew something was different because my roof extends all the way back over the rear passenger area.

It is gas (kawi FE290), but has a plate to the left of the model plate that says 48v golf cart, whats up with that?

Also what are the differences between the DS and my TG? Do I need to be posting here or in another forum? Thanks, and sorry for all the questions!

Absolutely, I'm stuck at work until 10:00pm tonight. Check back on this thread tomorrow morning. I'll shoot some pic's in the morning and post them up. Going off of the I.D. sticky in this section it says it's a TG, I've got TG0515. Thanks for reading.

Here's the pic's, sorry it took so long. There are three pic's of my muddy riding trip today. Got stuck bad, the stock tires carried me straight to the spot where I buried it. Well, take a look and tell me what you think, it's supposed to be a TG!

O.K. Scrap... here's the "scoop" on your cart!

Yes... it IS a DS cart!

TG = Tourall Gasoline Vehicle
It was built from the factory, with lights, rear seat, etc. to transport people rather then golf clubs.
It's basically the same as a Villager 4 with a Tourall serial number!

It seems that Club Car is eliminating all of the excess, misc. names of they're carts,
and just going with a few select names. (with a few new ones.... go figure!)
maybe they're tring to phase out Tourall name, and going with the Villager name!

A perfect "for instance"... My cart was orginally built as an XRT 550, then named a Lynx hunting vehicle,
but it's a DS with a larger engine, Z lift, 22" tires, brush gaurd, and a cargo box (which I replaced with a seat) from the factory.

So... no worries. any DS accessory will work on your cart!

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replys, and helping me figure this cart out. I have really enjoyed it so far, just want to do a few things to it. I don't want to make it really fast, (I've got the Honda 450r for that), but I would like a lift and tires. We ride it around our neighborhood and some trails around here, and will probably use it at the deer lease some. Thanks for the comment about my pup too. Later.
