Default 2 carts 2 chargers which ones best?

Bought 2 carts over the past few months. You guys helped me sort the second one out and now I'm wondering which charger I should use on which cart. My 08 (green) has 4 12v Trojans from 2012 and my 2011 (blue) has 6 8volt 2014 Trojans. The Blue cart is mine and the 12v set up is for the kids. I want to take the best care possible of the pack in my cart, and was wondering if I should use the yamaha charger that came with the 08 or the dpi that came with the 2011 or if there's really that much of a difference.

Thanks in advance!

The Yamaha chargers are known to fail, but useually you would not see a AC red light and the charger wouldn't function at all. The DPI is an excelleant charger, and if it turns on and chargers.....it's your choice. Both will do the job if working correctly.

Both chargers are functional, and I may be selling a cart in the near future so knowing the dpi is superior helps BIG time.

Keep the DPI for you, for sure. At least its repairable if it were to fail. As far as "do a better job", i still say the DPI (the Moric "high frequency" charger "boost mode" gets harsh on old batteries) . I have yet to see one of those tiny "HF" (not Harbor Freight, High Frequency) chargers outlast the good 'ol transformer based chargers in the big picture (lots of carts vs failure rate). I would never spend my own money on any of the "new era" chargers (Delta-q QE, Delta-q Quic, Yamaha flat "moric"). I still have a lester 36v "70's green" charger i use to charge stuff in my service area, i guarantee none of those new tiny junkers will ever last that long. Sometimes newer isnt better, unless California dictates otherwise .
