Default G16 stalling on low speed

Took my 02 G16 for a quick drive tonight for the first time in a bout 2 weeks. Under slow acceleration it feels like it's stalling or out a of fuel. I first I thought it was just cold so I held the choke but didn't seem to help and I than checked the fuel and it was also fine. We only just bought it a month ago and it was "serviced" days before we bought it. It also ran great up till today. Works fine at higher speeds but once you slow down it wants to die. Any ideas?

I'll check the carb but it's weird how it was running great and than started to act like this. My experience with carbs is they slowly get bad not out of the blue.

I checked the the governor tonight and it was adjusted wide open so I turned it back about half way to see if that help. Didn't really seem to.

Well the carb was either loose or slightly dirty. I took it off last night and sprayed some cleaner in but the bolts seemed very loose. Seems to be working good now.

So new problem but might be related. It now dies and drips gas from the excess tube on the carb. Needle stuck?

Is the float adjusted properly? Do you have a fuel return line?

Screw that! buy a $16 needle valve and keep the superior OEM carb! needle valve is the problem, not sunken float or float adjustment. seen this show a million times...
