Club Car DS year 00 won't start

Hi, I have a just bought a club car year 00, used it twice and it just stopped on the course. I checked the spark, there is one, and the fuel is being pumped to the carb but it just won't start. Can anyone give me any suggestions please

I would clean the carb real good, ethanol gas destroys them

More likely to be a spark problem. Try disconnecting the brown wire on the rev limiter. It's the black box down low on the front of the engine. Tape the wire end so it can't ground to anything.

Be very sure that is a consistent spark you have.

I have taken the carb to bits and found half a thimble full of yellow gunge have cleaned it thoroughly checked the jets are clear and will put it back on with a new pump and inline filters tomorrow

Eventually got this cart running, :- Cleaned the carb (dirty) changed the fuel pump (although I don't think that was the problem, Changed the fuel filters they were totally shot, Changed the fuel lines and the compression pipe to the pump which I think was leaking air.
Anyway its running now, I ran it about half a mile to test it and all seemed ok.
