1991 Club Car 36v vibration and noise coming from motor input shaft
Hello, I bought a 91 club car 36v about a month ago and replaced the worn batteries in it. After I put it in forward I noticed a grinding, clicking noise coming from the differential and a little hesitation and slight bucking. When I put it in reverse it goes faster and makes no noise at all. Today I took the motor off of it and it spins freely with no noise, I noticed I can make it wobble if i push it along the side of the housing. I also pushed the golf cart forward and back an have no noise coming from anywhere on it. It almost seems like there should be some kind of motor stabilizer on the input shaft to keep it from being so sloppy and possibly rubbing on the sides. Please help!
