Re: Precedent lift and power loss
You'll gain top speed on flats with bigger tires, but you'll lose a bunch of torque.
Bigger controller and motor upgrade can fix that, but it will shorten run time... |

Re: Precedent lift and power loss
It depends on the weight you carry, and the terrain you drive on. I have a 4" lift with 22" tires BUT I also have an Alltrax XCT 400 amp controller. That being said. I gained about 4-5 mph on flat road (24mph with stock tires, 29 mph with 22"). I lost about 2-3 MPH up long steep hills (15mph at the top of hill with stock tires 13mph with 22") Hope this helps, just so you know the XCT makes a HUGE difference over the stock controller, so you may lose more speed on hills. When I came up with the speeds above me and a buddy were on the cart which was probable about 530lbs of weight.

As far as the Trojans I assume you are referring to the Rangers? I don't know if they will make that big of a difference. |

Re: Precedent lift and power loss
Take a look at Revolution Carts or Carts Unlimited site sponsors. Both David and Scotty offer controller/cable upgrade packages that come with good instructions. It will make a big difference and is not hard to do.
