The extra .3 ohms has little to no effect on the resistor chain. It's only a fail-safe for a previous design flaw. Follow Sergio's lead.

That didn't solve the problem. 😕 Could the wiper contracts be the problem? It seems to check out ohm wise, but I'm not getting the voltage I need on the throttle wire. It did pick up reverse to the same speed as forward, but that is just a crawl. I've checked all the connection points in the three wire harness, they all are dry and corrosion free. Could the OBC cause
this? I'm stumped. I just rechecked the battery pack, 51 volts.

Ok, gone out on a limb and checked a few other things. I get the same voltage on the yellow wire at the wiper just as do at the controller. That tells me the wiring is not the problem. I checked the voltage at the top lug and it is only 3v max. Should it be more if the controller needs to see 5v at full throttle. Sergio, I actually had a new reverse micro switch and replaced it, no luck, but even with it bypassed, it only picked up reverse from nothing to only a creep at best. Still scratching my head.

Maybe I have figured something out, tell me if I'm wrong. Last post I stated that I only get 3v max at the top lug, so I checked it at the controller green wire, 3v also, shouldn't it be at least 5v? Does this indicate bad controller? Everything else seems to check ok.

If You disconnect the Green wire from Controller Terminal #2 and measure the voltage at the Terminal #2, You should get a little more than 5v when You press the pedal, if not, the controller is bad.

I get the same reading on the #2 spade on the controller whether the green wire is plugged in or not. It spikes to about 3v then settles to 2.6v. Bad (weak) control?

I am beginning to suspect the controller also, but before you give it the last rites, sample the voltage at the controller tab #1 (red wire) before and after the solenoid clicks.

And I'd still wait for Sergio to comment before ordering a controller.

Oops, slow post

Tag50, I have already checked that, full pack voltage. Thanks guys, I appreciated the help! I feel pretty confident that it's the controller. The throttle signal percentage is about the same as the speed percentage I'm getting.

I hesitate to recommend a new controller in case I missed something and the $$$$ involved. Thanks Sergio.
