It's a regen 1 that has been converted to a regen 2 with the OEM conversion kit. With the installation of this kit, the 2nd solenoid is removed so that explains why it's not there. These are very complex vehicles and they're a major pain to diagnose, but 9 times out of 10 it's a controller failure. If you've bypassed the solenoid like you describe and it still doesn't run, I'd be willing to be that's your issue. On a newer IQ car I would suggest bypassing the OBC power circuit to see if you could power up the controller manually, but the Regen 1 and 2 OBC computers are much more complex and have many more circuits involved in removing them from the system. Your best bet is to convert this cart to an IQ system and leave the headaches in the past.

This is one I am doing for resale, so it has to be done right and at the least cost. I have two other of this same model, but i don't think any of them have 2 solenoids. I may try to switch controller off one of the others.

What was actually converted when changed from Regen 1, the controller, computer, and/or motor?

The conversion kit consists of a controller and an adapter. Everything else on the cart stays the same. Thanks for the offer, but I'm already a vendor for those companies. lol. It was a nice gesture though.
