Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
First post you say batteries read “12”volts. Fully charged battery will read more then 12 volts. What is voltage when fully charged ?

Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
Also what is the load test result? I cannot count the times some customer assumed his batteries were fine because the multimeter he owned said so while my fancy snap on load tester showed the load making it drop to two volts.

Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
I’m looking to get a new solenoid for 2011 rxv but when I look up the numbers on my old one it says it’s for a 36 volt and mine is a 48 volt are they interchangeable

If you got a RXV Danaher controller in that cart I think you should have a 36v solenoid in it. I don't believe the parameters can be changed on the controller.

Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
Yep all year Danahers take a 36v solenoid. A 48v solenoid will have a different amp draw from the controller while it's active. I don't think the change to 48v happened until the second Curtis controller, late 2012 ?

Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
My late 2012 curtis cart has a 36v solenoid. It’s terminal is burnt and double clicking so maybe Curtis needs the 48v.

Re: 2011 Ezgo RXV solenoid double click of death
A 48v solenoid would run cooler but that 2012 controller calls for a 36v solenoid. You would need to make some changes in the parameters to be able to run a 48v solenoid.
