IIRC, Western had a factory installed overdrive for some year(s) of production. I think they gave it up because of too many warranty motor replacements.

I'm not positive about the older models but I think it is a 1982 Model 100.
Regardless, it is built on the Marathon chassis and the Ezgo wiring diagrams for the basic drive system are the same. The overdrive is a whole different animal that I believe involved a 2 speed motor.
Here is a wiring diagram page, I think yours is the second one down
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-manuals.html
I think all the headlight, signals and brake lights are wired across 2 6v batteries with a single 15a fuse.

That diagram page helped for future referance.

What I did for the 12 volts was tap 2 6 volt batteries fused the + side and ran a 10 gauge wire to the dash area to a fuse block that I bought at Autozone it holds 6 spade fuses so I have a fused light circuit, radio, lighter,
and off road lites. plus spares
Next comes the body work and paint

I think it's a little older but the pic looks similar to the newer one I picked up
I'll try and get a pic of the 2 of them together
