Default 1998 club car ds

Just picked up a 1998 club car. I dont know much about it. It has Ingersoll rand on the side. Is that the manufacture? Does this cart have a computer? It has no batteries. I think its take 6 8volts, for 48volt. Is this right? Anything anyone can tell me about this would be helpful. I found a manual on here but its for a 1999, it is the same? thanks.

Ingersoll Rand is Club Car's parent company. The cart should have an OBC (on board computer). Yes it takes 6 batteries but I think it could be 36 or 48 volt. You should be able to look at the label on the motor and it will say. If you dont know much about the cart I suggest you start reading every thread on BGW

you want to know if its a DS or a Reagan if a ds your F&R will be a lever if a reagan it will be a rockerswitch..........there is a difference and there will be a difference as far as service manual goes..........so its important to find this out because if its a reagan it can be a challange...................................
