Introducing myself w/ a battery question
Hello all. My name is Greg and I have just joined your forum. Looks like a lot of interesting stuff here. I have a 2007 ezgo that we use around the house, races, etc. My 8 year old daughter thinks she is just the queen bee when she gets to drive it around the yard, lol. We decided to go with a golf cart instead of a four wheeler so we could all enjoy the ride together. My question is how do I know my batteries are near expiring? I put a volt meter on them and read about 6.5 volts. The cart seems to be slowing a little (especially on hills). It does have the bigger tires on it. I have attached a pic of said cart. Thank you and looking forward to networking with you folks. Have a great day!!

Re: Introducing myself w/ a battery question
Greg, CONGRATS, nice looking ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!! |

Re: Introducing myself w/ a battery question
My wife ran across this on eBay. Has anyone tried this before replacing the batteries? I may give it a try. $40.00 before I spend hundreds may be worth a try......

Re: Introducing myself w/ a battery question
210. Welcome to the FUN.
You will find out sooo much from the pro on this site. One thing to think about, if you do not have one already, since the kids are running about on the cart is to install a digital battery meter. Best thing I did for my 95. Scottyb can get you pointed in the right direction. Enjoy! |
