Hello haven't been on here in a while. I just got a 2005 electric txte never had a electric one. It will run a few minutes and shuts off and just clicks. I got a used controller and it is doing the same thing. If anyone has any suggestions it would be awesome.

Is the F/R switch on the dash, and have a TOW/RUN switch on the controller cover under the seat? or on the body of the cart next to your knee? is the cart lifted with big tires?

You are going to need a voltmeter and the ability to read electrical diagrams (many of which are available in Stickies above) and/or follow suggestions. You might read some other post and get some ideas. I would start by identifying and furnishing more information about your cart as rib3304 requested. First I would measure the battery voltage (B+) and be sure it is good and getting past the solenoid when it clicks. All voltage measurements made from negative battery (B-). There are dozens of cart won't go topics on these forums. You can't guess about why an electric cart won't go.

Charge the batteries, wait 12 hours then measure the voltage of each battery with a DMM. Look up the battery on the web and see how to determine their age.

The F/R switch is by your knee. I will get my batteries load tested to check that.it is a standard cart no lift
