I don't know what that number means.
The date code on Trojan batteries is stamped into the lead post of the negative terminal.
Two characters.
First is a letter indicating the month (A=1=January, B=2=February, etc.)
Sencond is a number indicating the last digit of the year.

IE: L9 = Dec-2009

Ok cool. Thats want I wanted to know.

Also they are brand new from dealer. I checked water levels. They are over plates maybe a quater of inch.
Seems low to me should I add water right away. I have not even put them on the first charge yet.

distilled water only, the water should only be around 1/4 inch above the plates, if it's higher than that it will boil out while charging

If the plates are not exposed to air, don't add water until after they are charged.
(The electrolyte expands while charging, so they run over if filled before charging)
After charging, fill as indicated in pictures below. Use distilled water only.

couple more questions...

1. how long will the first charge take? the normal 12 hrours or a lot less? i have dpi 48v.

2. in the past i had my main fuse on the + of battery between the + side battery wire.
is that fine or does it need to be in a different location?

1. It depends on how long they sat on the dealer's shelf, plus a couple other factors. Could be a couple hours, could be 20 or more.
Let them go until the Green LED only is illuminated. If the DPI goes into an "Excessive Charging time" error mode (Power and Detection LEDs flashing), unplug the charging cable from the cart, wait a minute and plug it back in to initiate a new charging cycle.

Be sure and check the fluid level. They can gas a lot during the initial charge.

2. By main fuse, do you mean the 60A one or the 250A (or 400A) one?
The 60A fuse typically is placed in the heavy white wire from the charge receptacle.
The 250A fuse can be place anywhere in the battery pack or between the battery pack and solenoid or controller. The attached picture shows where I had it when I was running a DCX400
