Default ignition switch wire diagram

I have a 1996 club cart carry all II, I am needing a wire diagram for the ignition switch. And diagram for the solenoid. Having a hard time rewiring this cart and finding this information. I am new to golf carts.

Welcome to BGW Brooks15!

Some Carryall II's had "Pedal start"... and some had "Key start"... do you know which one it is?

Here are both key switches: (Click on pics to enlarge)

There are wiring diagrams in the "stickies",
the 1999 diagram is a good one for most all pedal start carts.

click on this blue link...>>> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...-diagrams.html

IF... you have a "key start" cart, let me know, and I'll scan and post the "very confusing" Club Car wiring diagram.

WiringDiagram 96.jpg

I used this one on my 96DS very successfully as a pedal start eventually turned it to a key start

I used it because I was starting from scratch and it was color coded and I am an idiot But I don't know what it would have been missing as it seemed to cover everything on the cart and his cart was a 96 wasn't it?

Either/Or will work just fine as long as it's a pedal start cart!
Lets see if Brooks comes back for a follow up!

Let me know if you need one as I figured it out by necessity because I wanted a key start on something that wasn't (96 carry all 1)

Club Car wiring diagrams are somewhat difficult to understand until you get the hang of it!

Hope this helps!
