Re: 48 V 100Ah Extreme Team Battery Pack Installed
The bolts that screw into the battery come with the battery. The 48 volt and the 12 volt terminals. You will need a 10 mm wrench to loosen/tighten. You just need some battery terminal covers. I don't know the size or threads.
I believe the 12 volt internal reducer in the battery pack is rated at 8 amps. The blue 48 to 12 volt reducer (I already had) is rated at 30 amps. So you just need to assess the number and total amperage of all your accessories. |

This is a photo that shows the early stages of the install... You can see the battery terminals have bolts supplied by Extreme Team.

Re: 48 V 100Ah Extreme Team Battery Pack Installed
You will need a 2 1/8" hole saw to install the SOC gauge into the dash.
You can take a look at the APP in advance. Down load "SMART BMS" ... It is a green circle with a white diamond and BMS in the center. It is for the Daly BMS (battery management system). With the APP you really don't need the SOC gauge. It is best to look at the various pages shown in the play store. |

Re: 48 V 100Ah Extreme Team Battery Pack Installed
My apologies for jumping into this. I do not mean to thread jack. I ordered a 72v/150 July 16. When I ordered I was told mid-August delivery (they didn't specify delivery to my door or their warehouse) I know they have to repackage the batteries to ship within America and that adds time) As of today my order status still says processing. At one time they had a page on their website with order numbers and shipping status but I no longer see it. They do have a new note that it can take 90 days to receive an order at this time. I was skeptical of the Mid August delivery when I ordered so I guess as long as i get it by Oct I should be happy. I know some folks had to wait a lot longer to get theirs though. I just hope my current batteries can make it until then, they are getting really sluggish now....

Re: 48 V 100Ah Extreme Team Battery Pack Installed
I ordered mine July 10th. and paid in full just so lets see when I get it
I did speak to Extreme and the person (she) told me their warehouse in China was flooded and workers were out of work for a considerable amount of time and their batteries were damaged something to that affect. Their were a lot of orders ahead of mine that will get filled that were expected to get filled before the flood so I will have to wait longer to receive mine. Mother nature strikes its out of our and their control so patience is key P.S. don't fell bad I don't even have batteries I am at a complete stand still |
