Rear diff oil change
I only see one plug and it is near the bottom. I assume this is the drain hole. Where is the fill hole? Any help would be appreciated. Photos if possible

Re: Rear diff oil change
Remove the diff cover to drain the oil. Replace the cover and fill through the hole till lube comes back out.

Re: Rear diff oil change
Here is what I did:
http://i491.photobucket.com/albums/r...O/P1070048.jpg Rigged a hoist and lifted the drivers side to drain. Switched to the passengers side to fill. There is only one hole, it is used to both FILL and DRAIN. I have read multiple recommendations out there, but I used SAE 30 motor oil. The amount recommeded varies, but I used 10 ounces. Obviously I changed the DIFF OIL while I was doing another procedure..... Good Luck! Aimless http://s491.photobucket.com/albums/r...view=slideshow |
